If you’re facing hit-and-run charges in Arizona
Diversion programs available on hit-and-run misdemeanor cases close the matter without a conviction. The standard diversion structure requires completion of an approved counseling course within a court-set deadline (commonly 90 days). On completion, the case dismisses in full. SAGE Counseling is one of the approved providers in Maricopa County for this kind of diversion track.
The civil unsafe lane change typically resolves at the same hearing as the criminal disposition. Civil traffic infractions do not enter the criminal record and are handled administratively.
Future First Criminal Law has handled hit-and-run cases across Maricopa County and Arizona. We know how Encanto Justice Court evaluates diversion eligibility on Leaving the Scene cases.
