Criminal Defense Lawyer

At Future First Criminal Law, we value driven, efficient, and passionate criminal defense lawyers who are ready to make a meaningful impact while maintaining balance in their professional and personal lives. Our approach emphasizes genuine work-life balance—delivering on what many firms promise but rarely achieve. By focusing on first-time offenders and misdemeanor cases, we help clients navigate the criminal justice system with guidance and care, not judgment.

Our team is built on a foundation of mutual respect and innovation. We prioritize thorough client vetting to ensure each case aligns with our philosophy and standards, allowing you to deliver the best outcomes without unnecessary stress.

We seek lawyers who excel in courtroom advocacy, embrace modern legal practices like remote communication and video updates, and are eager to learn our proven methods. With clear Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in place, you’ll have the tools and support to succeed while enjoying benefits such as healthcare coverage, performance bonuses, a fully equipped home office, and mileage reimbursement.

Paralegal & Case Manager

At Future First Criminal Law, we are committed to providing exceptional legal support to individuals facing felony and misdemeanor charges, working to prevent unjust incarceration and minimize the long-term impact of their cases. We focus on securing legal dismissals or diversion alternatives and ensuring that a single mistake does not define a person’s future.

As a Paralegal on our team, you will play a vital role in supporting our mission. Your responsibilities will include drafting legal memos, reviewing discovery documents, conducting client interviews, maintaining clear and consistent communication with clients, and preparing significant motions and deviations. You’ll work closely with the Owner/Attorney, paralegal, legal assistant, operations manager, marketing assistant, and client services manager. Together, we strive to achieve the best possible outcomes for our clients, providing them with the opportunity for a second chance.

This position oversees workflows across Sales, Legal, and Marketing, streamlines processes, ensures compliance, and supports team development. The focus is on driving results, maintaining profitability, and cultivating a collaborative atmosphere that empowers both the team and our clients.

The Operations Manager handles diverse responsibilities, including payroll oversight, hiring and onboarding, sales support, project management, and team mentoring. They also manage client relations, collaborate on strategic initiatives, and partner with the marketing team to integrate innovative tools and strategies.

Intake & Sales

In this role at our firm, you will play a key part in managing intake, sales, and billing processes. Your responsibilities will include scheduling consultations with qualified leads and preparing them for the firm’s legal services, while also referring other leads to trusted partners. In addition, you will engage in inbound sales conversations with pre-qualified potential clients, ensuring you effectively convey our services and address objections to close sales. This role is designed to work under attorney supervision, and while you won’t provide legal advice, you will be instrumental in quoting the appropriate costs and ensuring that clients adhere to their fee agreements. You will also assist in collecting payments when necessary.

The position requires a strong background in phone sales, problem-solving, and clear communication skills. Experience with significant price points and familiarity with the Phoenix area is a plus. You will need to memorize scripts, flow, and talking points, while also learning the products offered and identifying the right service for each potential client. The ability to work independently, track leads through multiple online platforms, and follow up with those who did not initially hire is essential for success.

Receptionist

At Future First Criminal Law, the receptionist plays a key role in supporting the firm’s operations and providing excellent client service. As the first point of contact, the receptionist answers incoming calls on a multi-line phone system, responds to emails, and ensures that relevant information is passed along to the appropriate team members. In addition to managing communications, the receptionist assists with administrative tasks such as data entry, scheduling, filing, and maintaining accurate billing notes. This position also involves reaching out to potential clients, scheduling appointments, and keeping the business calendar organized and up-to-date. The receptionist works alongside a close-knit team, including the owner/attorney, paralegal, legal assistant, and other staff members, in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Future First Criminal Law is a small but growing law firm that focuses on helping individuals accused of felony and misdemeanor crimes. The firm specializes in securing legal dismissals or diversion alternatives to keep clients out of jail. Joining this team means being part of a firm that is passionate about second chances and believes in fair, compassionate representation. The receptionist will contribute to the firm’s mission by being a dependable, organized, and positive team member who can adapt to the evolving needs of the business.
